Frequently asked questions

Yes. Logging weight in kg, pounds or stones, the Apple Health or Health Connect sync, the trend weight with the algorithm you pick, the 7-day change, the history over 1 and 3 months, your goal including a target pace, BMI, sharing as an image, experiments and markers, medication tracking, the maintenance corridor with band and status, export and import as well as one daily reminder are free forever. Trendcurve Pro adds the forecast, the calorie budget, patterns such as plateaus and weekdays, the evaluation of experiments, the weekly rate per dose step, corridor history and early warning, the milestones card, balance, monthly reports, body measurements, progress photos, the trend restart, long chart ranges and, on iPhone, the iCloud backup and the larger widgets.

Locally on your smartphone. Trendcurve has no server of its own and no account, and no health data is transmitted to us, including the label and dose from medication tracking. The anonymous usage analytics contain no health values and can be switched off under "Settings & more → Privacy". Only if you enable the iCloud backup on iPhone does the app place a copy in your own iCloud account, which we cannot access.

There are exactly four reasons, and Trendcurve always names the one that applies: your trend is barely moving, it is currently running away from the goal, there are still too few measurements, or your last measurement is more than three days old. The app will not invent a date.

Each section needs at least 7 days and 4 days with a measurement: the 28 days before the start, the duration itself and, once it has ended, the time after. If something is missing, the "Experiments" card tells you how many measurements and days are still needed. The evaluation is part of Trendcurve Pro. Without Pro you see your experiments and markers with date and type, but not the rates.

iOS does not tell apps whether read access was granted. Check in the Health app under Profile → Apps & Services → Trendcurve whether "Weight" is enabled. After that, "Settings & more → Apple Health → Sync now" or "Import everything again" will help. If Trendcurve should write to Health as well, writing has to be allowed there and writing back has to be switched on in the app. On Android, check in Health Connect under App permissions → Trendcurve whether weight is allowed.

Under "Settings & more → Units". There you pick kilograms, pounds or stones for weight and centimetres or feet and inches for height and body measurements. Trendcurve always stores kilograms internally, so switching only converts what you see and leaves your history untouched.

On iPhone the easiest way is the iCloud backup: if it is active, Trendcurve offers to restore after a reinstall by itself. Alternatively export a JSON backup under "Settings & more → Export, backup & import", share it and import it on the new device. On Android the JSON backup is the way to go.

Trendcurve backups (JSON), Trendcurve CSV as well as CSV exports from Happy Scale, Libra, openScale and Excel. You get a preview before the import, and daily values that already exist are not created twice.

Under "Settings & more → Reminders" you set the time and weekdays. With the smart reminder you are only reminded if there is no entry for today yet. Body measurements get their own weekly reminder with its own day and time. You set up the reminder on your injection day under "Settings & more → Medication tracking", and the notification at the end of an experiment can be switched off under Reminders. Pro allows several times and streak protection. All reminders run locally on your device.

Yes. Under "Settings & more → Customize cards" you can show or hide individual cards on Today, Goal and Analysis, for example BMI, body measurements or the monthly report. You change the order in each tab: hold a card's handle and drag it to its new place, right in the tab or in that list.

Via "Settings & more → Manage subscription & purchases" or through the iPhone settings: Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions → Trendcurve Pro. On Android, open the Play Store and go to Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. After cancelling you keep access until the end of the current billing period. If you bought Pro as a one time purchase, it stays active permanently.

Under "Settings & more → Export, backup & import → Delete all data" or by uninstalling the app. An active iCloud backup is deleted in the same place. We delete the anonymous usage data at PostHog and RevenueCat on request if you send us your anonymous ID from "Settings & more → Privacy".
